Why People Like Nikon D7000

by admin on Mar.19, 2012, under Nikon

The Nikon D7000 DSLR produces stunning images(16.2 effective megapixels) that are richer in tone and detail than previously possible in DX format. The A/D conversion happens within the sensor, thereby maintaining exceptional image integrity without sacrificing shooting speed or energy efficiency

Nikon D7000 DSLR welcomes in a new era of movie capture: Full HD 1080p and movie editing functions for exceptional cinematic reproduction and quality. In addition to smooth-moving images, the camera can compensate for distortion and other image-degrading problems. Besides auto exposure mode, the Nikon D7000 DSLR offers manual exposure mode, which locks in the exposure value when shooting scenes with varying contrast levels, such as when panning from a bright window to a dark interior. Aside from a built-in monaural microphone, the Nikon D7000 DSLR incorporates an external microphone jack for high-quality stereo sound recording options.

Say farewell to missed opportunities. The Nikon D7000 DSLR incorporates a new driving mechanism to conduct its remarkably fast and precise mirror movements, giving you an approx. 0.052 second release time lag and an approx. 0.13 second start-up time. What’s more, you can continuously shoot at approx. 6 frames per second at both 14-bit and 12-bit A/D conversion for RAW shooting. More…

Chances are that if you are even considering this camera, it is as an upgrade. There are now countless comparisons in the photo magazines and on the web that you can use to check out how it compares in features, so there’s little merit in repeating them here. It’s certainly an “enthusiast” spec so for a starter camera it is probably more than you will need to pay. Camera manufacturers don’t make it easy as each are backing slightly different technology horses – and at the end of the day (which coincidently is a time when this camera is particularly good due to it’s ability to handle low light with remarkably little noise) it’s a matter of personal preference which manufacturer you favour more…
